This robot is a multi-disciplinary STEAM toy that helps kids to learn about robotics, mechanics, and biodiversity. The robotic toy is a bio-mimicry of the movement of worms. The toy also educates kids about the principle of converting electrical energy into kinetic energy with batteries and a motor. The robot works on this principle where it converts electric energy from the battery into kinetic energy of the motor. This, in turn, drives the robot to replicate the contracting and expanding movement of worm. This self-building science toy can be assembled from scratch under the supervision of parents in just a few hours and can be played with for as long as the child wants!

STEAM education employs the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics to encourage children to evolve their problem solving and critical thinking skills. It is a novel approach towards learning that insists on creativity, inquiry, and innovation.

    Me and My husband bought this kit during Stuart’s summer vacation. We wanted him to do something constructive instead of just waste time on mobile and television screen. Robotics is very upcoming areain science today so we thought why not try. Over few weeks stuart told us about how it converts electrical energy into kinetic energy using motor and energy battery.. and lot of other concepts in robotics and mechanics. So it was good decision
